.PUMPKIN PATCH.

One of our most treasured traditions is going to the pumpkin patch and dinner with the Hood's. I can't remember how many years we've done this... 9 maybe? We love our Hood family! 

.WARD HALLOWEEN PARTY.

One of our biggest, if not the biggest, Ward activity is our Halloween Extravaganza! We always have a HUGE turnout and everyone comes dressed to impress. This year was AWESOME! Every detail was incredible.

.A SPOOKY PIANO RECITAL.

Olivia had her first recital with her new piano teacher. All the pieces were Halloween themed and the kids dressed in their spooky attire. It was really cute. Olivia did great but holy moly her teacher has some amazing talented kids under her. We were blown away. 

.PUMPKIN PAINTING.

I gave up carving a few years ago. It's just too hard for little ones and Tyler and I end up doing it ALL. Painting is so fun and this year I found some kits to go along with the paint. SO much easier!

HIT AND RUN

 The best way to describe this 5K is it's like the show Wipe Out. A couple months ago we were approached by our friends about doing this race. It sounded like a good time so we signed up. Well I'm not going to lie when the night before came I was dreading it a bit. None of us ran to prepare. But we went and hoped for the best and the best would be none of us getting injured! We're getting old.

Well it turned out to be a blast. Seriously so much fun! And I would do it again in a heart beat. It doesn't look as hard because you are not running the whole time but indeed it was! The stunts wore me right out. And it wasn't the leg muscles sore the next day but rather the shoulders. I'm not used to climbing in my day to day. So glad we did it! Sadly one of our team mates, Jessica, had to opt out of the race last minute because of a weird thumb infection. Her awesome Brother covered for her and she was behind the camera the whole time capturing the race. Thanks Jess! Next year we'll get you out there!
