a little souvenir

I know this is like the 40th picture I've posted of Drew's stitch wound but we discovered a little surprise the other day. GAUZE. Sure glad some gauze was stitch up too. The white part, those are little cotton strings.

The Compromise

I do love having my boys together in the birth order but just because Liv is a girl and Drew is a boy doesn't mean they can't be best friends. They just know how to compromise, which is a awesome skill to know.

Do you ever feel like you were placed in the medical field just by being a mom? The best dr is one with experience and I feel like I am getting some good experience! I am always treating something around here. Lately I have treated Olivia's Moluscum, which took 6 months to treat but it's finally gone! Just in time for bikini season.

Then I am still treating Drew's wound. I guess under the chin is a tricky area to heal because you are always talking and eating so it's constantly stretching.

And Alex, oh Alex. There's always something wrong with Alex. Today he has burns on the bottom of his feet! No, I'm kidding. The doctor said it's just baby eczema on the bottom of the feet. He also has it behind his ears. I know, weird. Looks like burns though. We also think he has chronic sinus infections. So he has to go on an antibiotic for 3 whole weeks! Ugh. But hopefully this can kick his swollen sinuses and green snot.

I promise my kids are really healthy! I just think of what I go through with just normal sicknesses. I couldn't imagine having a child with a "real" sickness. We really are blessed.

8 years of.............WORK with a side of fun!
Everyone that's married knows how much work it is. So I am not going to sit here and tell you how much in love we are. We are, in love, of course. But the best part of being married for 8 years is reflecting on what we have accomplished together. We are a great team.

They (not really sure who they are) say that year number 7 is the hardest for married couples. Glad it didn't phase us.

Our conversation a couple of months ago.
Tyler: I hope you don't take this in the wrong way.
Jamie: (Thinking in my head) K that's never a good thing to say.
Tyler: I think you are hotter today than when I married you.
Jamie: Sigh. I will take that compliment any day.

Love this man and what's better, I know how much he loves me.
