XMAS TIME

It's been a tradition to have Santa come by last minute to check and see if he has the list right at our house. I think this Santa gets a little weirder every year as well.
The kids and all my nephews in their jammies waiting for Santa.
So cute.

Felize Navidad!

I have the best but hardest calling at church. Well maybe not the hardest, but four times a year it's pretty stressful for me. And considering I do it all by my lonesome. No Tyler, no committee, it's pretty hard. I throw parties! What I really love to do, but I really love it when it's maybe 20 people not 150 people! Anyways we had our Ward Christmas Dinner on Friday and it turned out awesome. Great food-Mexican, great dessert-churros, great drinks-Fanta, great music and the jolly old man stopped by.

What a surprise, my wuss child is scared.

Sooooooo glad it's over with and I can rest for at least 1 1/2 months.

Our Ethnic Background

Our conversation today:
Drew- You know Eric (Olivia's friend)? He's black.
Mom- No Drew, Eric is Mexican, not black.
Drew- No Eric is black.
Mom- No your Uncle Curtis is black. Eric is Mexican.
Drew- Oh yah Curtis is black.
Mom- And Drew you are white.
Drew- No Mom, I'm eggnog color!

Cutest little fart.

Utah Business Mag Dinner

I failed to take my camera but we had Tyler's work Christmas dinner last night at Carvers. Tyler is such a hard worker and I can tell his employees really like the new changes Tyler has tried to accomplish since taking over as Publisher. He really cares about his employees and the magazine. Way to go Tyler, 6 months in your new position and you are doing awesome! (Oh and that's not Tyler on the cover, just in case you were confused!)

There's been a murder at the North Pole!

Our neighbors hosted a Christmas murder mystery party! I can honestly say I have never been to a murder mystery anything so I didn't know what to expect. We were all assigned characters ahead of time. It was so much fun and all of our neighbors looked awesome in their costumes! I am not going to post pictures of everyone because it would take too long but trust me they were great!
I was Harpo (Oprah), talk of the North Pole.
Tyler was Icy, rising snowman rapper.

Ooh Icy love Oprah's junk!

Beanie Babies

Not a big fan of Beanie Babies but I LOVE a baby in a beanie!

Today it snowed, A LOT.
I can't do anything about it, so I embraced it!
We have the biggest blanket of snow right in our backyard and the kids were the first to ugly it!

Even Alex enjoyed it.
Even Mom enjoyed shoveling the driveway.
Any exercise is good exercise!

Raise the Roof

In all the hustle and bustle, I need a break! We had our annual Christmas dinner with our wonderful friends. This year we went to The Roof, for me and Tyler's first time. It, of course, was YUM. The view, beautiful. The dessert, a little piece of heaven.
I really love to laugh, who doesn't, and with these people I can't ever stop laughing, that's why I love them so much! This is what the holiday's are about.

Olivia Laurel is now SIX

Olivia was born November 18, 2003 in the wee hours of the morning. I was induced on my due date because she seemed larger than average. She weighed in at 8lbs 6oz and was 20 inches long.
She unfortunately came into this world with forceps wrapped around her poor head. She still was the most beautiful baby though, battle wounds and all. I was so thrilled to have a baby girl, since I only have brothers. She has been such an awesome daughter.

These are Liv's 6 year old pictures. I know I am partial but she's such a beautiful little girl.

Olivia had a Glamorous Birthday party this year. Full of makeup, nails, and accessories. Every little girls dream I guess.

Then on her actual Birthday we went out to Chili's for some "baby back ribs", Liv's favorite food.

She also had her 6 year old check up. And everything is great, especially her eyes! The MA couldn't get over how good her eyes are. She gets that from me. Liv's stats: Weight- 48 lbs (55%) Height- 47 inches (80%) Shoe size- 13-1 (I just through that one in there).
We love this little girl to pieces and it won't be long before she outgrows her Mother. Happy Birthday sweetie!
