Drew had his Spring program at preschool. One of the numbers was a dance. It's no coincidence Drew is paired up with Piper and placed in the front. They are definitely the two cutest flirts in the class.

Although I know Drew's real crush is for his teacher, Miss Andrea. He has told me how cute Miss Andrea is. And Miss Andrea just can't get enough of Drew.

a day of pure bliss

I love reading every one's Mother's Day posts. They are so peaceful and filled with love. It makes me laugh a little. The perfect Mother's Day would be me and my Mom on a tropical island sipping pina colada's.

I did get a card from Tyler.

Can we just get a cute picture, the kids with Mom? Apparently not. Everyone look at the dang camera and just feel the love. And stop picking your nose.

Tyler has it so easy. No flowers please, he knows the rules. If you don't get them from Costco you paid too much and they are just going to die. So get me a shirt instead please. Or a sexual card. I had my van detailed last week and I told him that was my Mother's Day gift. A spotless van. Now that makes me happy!

I did miss my Mom. I knew she was with my brothers and grandparents enjoying Spencer's birthday. I wished I was there badly. Love you Mom.

Spencer is the most even tempered, caring, quiet, cutest, most thoughtful, and mild 21 year old I know. He lives in Oregon, goes to College. He's getting his Engineering degree. He works full time to pay for the college he attends full time. The kids adore him and I just can't believe my "little" Brother is TWENTY-ONE! We love you Spence, Happy Birthday!!!

I thought it was bad yesterday.

But it got worse today. Awesome.

{The Fifth Day of May}

I really did ask Tyler what Cinco De Mayo says. I know why it's celebrated but what does it translate? He rolled his eyes. It all makes sense now.....
Nonetheless we did celebrate.
I pretend I am 1/4 Mexican.
I think our family almost could pass it off.
We all have dark brown hair and I love TJ MAXX, but that's about where it ends.
So Olivia wore her cute Mexican vestida to school, the dress was imported from the Cabo San Lucas airport gift shop, while we were delayed.

We did our neighborhood pinata bust.

And I made a yummy Mexican dish for dinner. Which isn't anything special since 80% of the dinners I make are Mexican. But it was delice.

house changes

We started building this house SIX years ago! So it was time for some little changes if you ask me. If you ask Tyler, well just don't ask Tyler, he doesn't understand.

I made some window treatments for my windows.

They turned out awesome and I just love the fabric design. So I added some in the living room and kitchen.

Plus my friend Marcie, she doesn't know this yet, is going to make me a throw pillow out of this fabric as well.
