Finally got my Patriarchal Blessing

Yes. I finally got my Patriarchal Blessing. No. Not for the first time. But just about.
I actually received my blessing back in 2001, when I was 19 years old. One awesome memory since my Dad was there. Sometime in 2003 I misplaced my blessing and haven't seen it since. I know I know, that's awful of me. But I've been kind of busy for the last 7 years.
I have mentioned I just need to call the church and request another copy but just haven't done it. So my bestie, Joce, surprised me for my Birthday and ordered it herself. Well it finally came last week.
{Amazing}
I am actually glad this happened. I don't think I knew how important or was ready for this blessing. Now that I have grown up a little I can really appreciate what's in store for me. It's really cool to see things that probably meant nothing to me at 19 but have actually happened.
So today I feel lucky. Lucky for this experience.
Thanks Joce.

a fry can make me happy

I would like to share a story.
If you know me well at all, you know I love fries. If I had to choose one more food to eat for the rest of my life it would probably be fries. And of course I have my favorites, Chick-fil-A, McDonalds, Astro Burger is the best! Even when we went to Peru a few years back all I DARED to eat were fries. I lived on them for 10 days and even lost weight. Anyways I know they are not good for you so today on my way to Wendy's I listened to the pudge surrounding my inner section and decided I will not have fries with my crispy chicken deluxe sandwich. I ordered our food (Tyler's out of town and this is what we do when he's out of town, eat out at least once a day) and off back home I went. On my way home my hand was searching for some fries in the kid's meals and I found some but they were in my bag. What? I looked and there was a medium fry. Could it be? I checked my receipt and they didn't charge me for them but they surprised me instead! The Wendy's fairies must have know! It was like it was meant to be. So I live about a half a mile from Wendy's and those fries were gone by the time I was home. At least my heart was in the right spot. Thank you Wendy, usually we get ripped off from drive-thru's.

{FOUR}

April 17, 2010
My baby DREW is FOUR! I love age four mostly because I can remember when I was four.
The day started out with his breakfast of choice, cinnamon rolls and scrambled eggs.

Then Tyler took Drew to the driving range to hit a bucket of balls. Drew is just learning but we can tell he will be passionate about golf just like his Dad.

Drew picked Cafe Rio for lunch, which is great by me.
Then it was party time....

TOY STORY GALORE

The CUPCAKES were my fav. So easy and so cute!

The cute BIRTHDAY BOY.

Alex slept through the whole party which was fabulous!

For dinner we took DREW to TEPANYAKI'S. It was actually my first time and I don't love that sort of food but DREW's face was priceless. He loved every minute.

Such a fun filled day for our little buddy! Can't wait to start planning #5! HaHa totally kidding.

here we go again

Every Spring our lives get a little busier! Between school, baseball, and tennis, I feel like I am constantly running around. This year Tyler hung up his cleats so that he could be more involved with our kid's sports. What a guy! So that means he is Drew's new baseball coach. I have dreamed about this day really. I just love baseball and to have my husband coaching my son is really the best! How lucky are our kids to have such a sporty Dad. He even wants to take Tennis lessons so he can play with Olivia. So here we go, the weather is perfect, and we are ready for some ball!
GO BLUE JAYS!!!

This bum deserves a squeeze!

Squeeze squeeze!!!

Get into your ready position.

california

We headed to Hollister California in this!

It's the only way to travel 14 hours with little ones.
If there are laws for car seats and RV's, we did not abide.
The Duggars don't either.

The kids slept tons. And I didn't drug them. Well actually I had to give them Dramamine for motion sickness so I pretty much drugged them.

Tyler's Grandma, Baba (Grandma in Croatia), turned the big NINE-ZERO!!! How amazing is that? Plus she's healthy, living by herself and driving her Mercedes on her own.

They had an enormous Birthday party for her at a beautiful golf course. I think there were almost two hundred people there. It was amazing.

It was during Alex's nap time but Mommy has the best pillows.

It's so fun to see family that we don't get to see too often.

Drew and his cousin Derek. They are only a few months apart so they are too cute together!

While in California we had to hit up Great America. The kids loved it. I loved the weather. It was absolutely perfect.

On another day we all went and rode a steam engine train through the forest. So awesome.
I kept picturing Edward gliding through the tree's....with me on his back.

Uncle Curtis LOVED it too.

And finally here's the family picture with Baba. So glad we could all be there to celebrate!
