Tyler + Jamie

I always seem to get what I want. I'm a brat that way.

After meeting Tyler I knew I wanted him to be my next boyfriend, my next fling. A little seduction, a little flirting, with a little cleavage and I had this guy falling for me as well. It didn't take long after that first meeting and we were dating exclusively.

{Tyler and I were watching the bachelor, yes he probably would never admit it but he's just as much into the drama as I am. I told him I am so glad I don't have to date guys anymore. Those awkward situations. The not eating in front of them. The stomach aches at the end of the night. Now we just let them loose (in a cute way of course). I can pound down a 5 dollar burger in like 3 minutes. And nothing is ever awkward, it's just funny.}

Like I said before Tyler played baseball for Dixie. Kathryn and I would go to his games. Bring him Cafe Rio at his practices. Yes the first Cafe Rio was in St. George way back when. Hang out at the house that he shared with Bart. Seems so lame now but back then when we felt all those little butterfly's in our tummies, we could have been sitting on a couch all day and been totally content. Just being together was enough.

Which leads me to the first kiss. But that story will have to wait until next month. I will tell you that I am not a kisser. Never have been. Never will be. Bringing the bachelor back into my stories, when I see Ben kissing a girl and I can see their tongues touching....A little bit of my 5 dollar burger comes up.
Organize me

I've said it before and I'll say it again....
If you struggle with laundry, I swear by a laundry schedule.
Me and laundry are not friends and I don't enjoy it as much as the next person. But what makes it bearable is my schedule. It would be so easy to make your own to fit your family and just keep to it. I am consistent with my laundry and I hardly ever fall behind. Two loads a day people.

Monday- Drew's darks and Alex's darks
Tuesday- Olivia's darks and Esther's darks
Wednesday- Kid's whites and Kid's towels
Thursday- Mom/Dad whites and Mom/Dad towels
Friday- Mom's darks and Dad's darks
Saturday- Bedding and Dish towels

Just try it! Please. And let me know if you already follow a schedule and how laundry works or doesn't work for you.

PS. My washer and dryer are retarded. My next big purchase will hopefully include a beautiful shiny washer and dryer that won't take ALL DAY to do my two loads.

We're Back~

Our 8 day vacation is over. Dang it.

It all started a couple of months ago when I told Tyler "I don't want to turn 30 here in the cold".  Convinced he would think of somewhere amazing to take me, I then realized I would not be ready to leave the baby for any length of time. So we started thinking of somewhere we could ALL go. And what better way to turn 30 than at the most youthful place that I could think of!
.Tyler's 33rd Birthday cake {St. George}.
.Cousins {Lancaster, California}.
We visited Tyler's Brother and his family for a couple of days in California. The kids had so much fun. I promise they did more than just this.
.Disneyland.
Grandma and Grandpa came to Disney with us for the first day!

Did I mention we picked the BEST three days to go weather-wise? We had forgotten what the sun was like so it was awesome. 75-80 degrees of wonderfulness.

Seriously our eyes weren't used to the bright sun.

.My 30th Birthday cake {St. George}.
We had such a fun week! Some things I learned on this trip:

1. I have the best little travelers. Not one tear from anyone (not even the dramatic teether) to or from Cali.
2. Apparently Esther has absolutely no tolerance for pain. She cut a tooth while there and you would have thought she was dying.
3. Alex was amazing. The little snot was the worst toddler but is turning out to be one great little kid.
4. Four kids is a lot. We had our hands full.
5. I'm thirty now and Tyler had to remind me about every 10 minutes.
6. Don't forget your tickets. Because I did and we had to buy more.
7. I'm in love with macaroons (I had to buy 5).
8. I don't think old people in jazzy's should be able to go to the front of the line.
9. The Dole pineapple float was superb.
10. Every little tiny town we passed in the desert I would think how do people live there?
11. I love my house and I love my bed and I love my routines.

Favorites rides:
Olivia- Space Mountain
Drew- Tower of Terror
Alex- It's a small world
Mom- Little Mermaid
Dad- Tower of Terror
