I LOVE OREGON

One of my favorite movies of all time is
"The Goonies"
Halloween 2012

So it's no surprise that it has always been a dream of mine to visit Oregon where the movie was filmed. What better time to go than our 12 year Anniversary! I fell in love with Oregon through the movie so I couldn't wait to experience it in real life. Sounds so stupid when I say it out loud but I really was giddy the entire time.

As soon as we flew into Portland we drove straight to some hikes and waterfalls right outside of Portland. They were breathtaking!

Portland

Cannon Beach

Our room view was awesome.
And our lodge was amazing. It felt more like a bed and breakfast.
We basically did what we love to do the entire time. A lot of hiking, eating, sleeping-in, talking, sightseeing, walking, laughing, kissing, learning, napping, movie watching, driving..... It was a perfect getaway in my opinion.

Astoria, Oregon

Astoria was the cutest little town with so much history. We basically spent the day going from museum to museum.

I can't help but feel like the luckiest girl to be married to my very best friend. 12 years under our belt and we do it with ease. Marriage has always been fun to us and we feel so blessed to be able to spend time with each other doing what we love and having a blast doing it. I'm already thinking about and looking forward to our next adventure!

ALEX GRADUATES (preschool)

After 3 years of preschool Alex is finally done! He thrived at Challenger like all my children do. I remember thinking when Drew was doing his little Challenger performances that I couldn't even imagine Alex singing and dancing in front of us. He was a very stubborn toddler and really didn't like any attention on him. Well he proved me wrong! Not only is he singing from the top of his lungs but also leading the whole classroom in a little skit. He is the cutest little performer!

He also Graduated from his "special" preschool! Alex was tested at 2.5 years old and qualified for a preschool to help him with a speech delay. We really thought something was wrong with the kid. But these teachers completely changed his life. They are amazing at what they do and they definitely got Alex talking, plus reading! He even received an award for reading 27 books, which the last time that was accomplished in that classroom was 7 years ago. We couldn't be more proud of this kid's accomplishments and he is extremely excited to go to school with the older kids come fall. YAY ALEX!

SAINT GEORGE

We headed to sunny St. George on Drew's Birthday. Tyler's entire family was nice enough to meet us there so we could all be there together to celebrate Drew and Easter! We rented a huge house that could fit all 27 of us!!!!! It was a serious blast!
