The SCALES and TAILS Party

I made the decision to celebrate Drew's Birthday a couple weeks early. It was very last minute. I was so afraid I would be unavailable for this little boy and his party and I didn't want him to feel overlooked with all the things going on. It is the BOYS year for Birthday parties so I couldn't let this slide, he's been waiting for two years.

Well of course the "last minute" party turned out to be one of my favorites. All the decor turned out so fun and the zoologist that came was absolutely perfect for all the seven year olds. I would highly recommend his services to anyone. Everything was awesome.

This is a serious picture overload. So get comfy.

.TEAM BABIES.

{THIRTY TWO WEEKS}

-Holy moly we've made it! It's so hard when you have no control over something but just hope for the best. And for some reason we've gotten nothing but the best so far. It's funny how my goals are always changing. First I just wanted to get into 30 weeks. Then 32. Now I would love to get to 34. And if everything is okay with all four of us, why not push it to 35? We'll see.....

-I do feel like things are happening to my body. But I have figured out that I have no motherly intuition with these babies. The first time we did invitro I would have put money on that I was pregnant. I wasn't. The second time I would have sworn it didn't work. And it did, plus more! Every time I think something is happening with my cervix, nothing is happening. I'm just not in tune and that's okay.

-Last week when our Doctor was still in Peru we saw another Dr. During the ultrasound we could see baby B's heart rate slow down really low and then speed up super high. This concerned me and this is when my non stress tests started. Even though this is about when they do them anyways. I go twice a week. The first time was a joke. The babies would never calm down for a minute to get a good reading. But every single one since has been better and better. And their heart rates, fluids and my blood pressure are always great.

-Our next appointment is Tuesday and I can't wait to get an estimate on how much they weigh. They told us that me and the babies don't really grow a ton after 28 weeks. I don't feel this is true for me at all. I know I am getting bigger and bigger everyday. I've grown tons since 28 weeks so hopefully the babies have too.

-I only swell if I'm warm. And it's getting warm outside so I'm starting to swell at times. I get asked all the time how I still drive. My pedals on my car adjust. Tyler is a foot taller than me so we like adjustable pedals and it's worked great for this big belly.

-I'm still sleeping good. I don't use any extra pillows. Just my usual one and my comforter. Tyler does say I snore and I make some sort of wimper. I wake myself up with the wimper. It's bizarre. It is a little difficult to get out of bed when I need to pee. I have to gather some momentum and hoist myself out of bed.

-Water is a double edged sword. I am always thirsty. Sometimes I can't even swallow because my throat is so dry but then I drink a lot and I'm in the bathroom all day.

-A nurse told me the story about how my Dr. delivered a Orangoutang by C-section at the Zoo. So I think I'm in good hands and I can't wait!

Easter Weekend

I LOVE Easter so I was so glad I wasn't on bed rest for one of my favorite holidays. We always spend Easter in warm St. George but obviously we couldn't this year but that's okay because it ended up being warm here!
.Easter Prep.
Kathryn (my best friend of 20 years) and her family came over for dinner and to dye eggs. Does anyone like to dye eggs? I don't and I know Kathryn doesn't. I'm not really sure why we have this tradition. It's really not that fun.
But it was so good to see Kathryn's teeny tiny belly (yes she is due a week before me) and to play with her girls. Kathryn has 3 girls and doesn't know what she's having this time. But I'm convinced it's another girl. The Girl I'm carrying and if Kathryn's is a girl they may  have the same first name. And when we were talking about it both girls started moving. So that's my evidence. Can't wait to find out!
(This picture is for all the people that say "you don't look like you're carrying triplets".)

.Easter Morning.
We have church at 9am. So this year we left a note for the Easter bunny telling him to come while we were at church. It was so nice that Tyler could actually be home most of the day with us.

.Easter Afternoon.
Family came over for a BBQ.

Her eggs fell out.

I couldn't resist. The triplets needed Easter baskets too!

Testing out the ginormous stroller.

It was a really great day.

BASEBALL SEASON

We hit two baseball games last week.
First a UTAH vs BYU game, where BYU lost in extra innings and we froze our buns off.

Then the Mariners and Rockies came to SLC to play a preseason game. I guess this NEVER (I heard the last time was 40 years ago) happens so I was glad Tyler could get some last minute awesome seats for us, since they sold out 3 minutes after going on sale. This game we all got sun burns and had a blast.

Pool Day in March?

We had some family in town for an awesome Baptism.
So we took full advantage of their Hotel pool.

We love this side of the family- So good to spend the day with them.
