BASEBALL SEASON

We hit two baseball games last week.
First a UTAH vs BYU game, where BYU lost in extra innings and we froze our buns off.

Then the Mariners and Rockies came to SLC to play a preseason game. I guess this NEVER (I heard the last time was 40 years ago) happens so I was glad Tyler could get some last minute awesome seats for us, since they sold out 3 minutes after going on sale. This game we all got sun burns and had a blast.

Pool Day in March?

We had some family in town for an awesome Baptism.
So we took full advantage of their Hotel pool.

We love this side of the family- So good to spend the day with them.

.TEAM BABIES.

THIRTY WEEKS!
I can't believe it.

:I can't imagine my belly getting any bigger but we all know it is going to.

:My last appointment was almost 2 weeks ago. It was an ultrasound one. All the babies measured around 3 lbs each.

:Our Dr. told us something we all hate to hear. He's going out of town. For 10 days. To Peru.

:So now since I've made one of my big goals of making it to 30 weeks, my next goal is to get into April. Because our Dr. will be back Easter day.

:I still sleep pretty good. I pee like seriously 7 times but I'm comfortable and go right back to sleep. I still take Unisom. About once a week I wake up hungry or thirsty and I have to go downstairs to fix that. It's always around 3am.

:Curtis' Dad came in town to help them move all their furniture to California. We had dinner together and then just talked and talked. He is so tender hearted just like Curtis. Crying throughout the evening. I know he is so appreciative. These babies are the Brown's first Grand babies. I'm so glad I can make this family so incredibly happy.

:The gestation diabetes is going great. I still have never failed my twice daily glucose test.

:Easter candy is the best. Therefore I think I'm starting to gain weight again.

:The evenings are always like this. Me laying on the couch watching Family Feud (I'm addicted) while Grandma is making dinner.

:I have Braxton hicks all the time.

:I'm getting super excited for Easter. It's one of my favorites. I have everything ready just in case I can't get up.

:I am religious with putting baby oil and cocoa butter on my tummy every night. So far it's worked and I hope it continues.

:Kim and Curtis have been in Cali all week moving into their new home. The nursery is absolutely darling. Such a fun time for the new parents. I can't wait to come visit them in the summer to see their cute home.

:My next appt. is Tuesday... I always wonder if I'll go on bed rest?

Rainbows & Gold

Why is St. Patrick's day like big now? I remember growing up all it meant was you wear green and if you don't you get pinched, so you lie and say you have green underwear on or green in your eyes.

Now there are all these cute crafts and leprechauns that come to the house. It's hard for me to keep up. I know for sure I'm not picking up the Leprechaun tradition. One more thing to keep from my 9 year and 7 year old? No thanks.

But I just had to do something super simple and the kids were in love because it was all sugar and we tend to love sugar in this home.

Oh and I almost forgot about my most favorite dinner of the year. Cabbage and corned beef. Never ever disappoints me.

.TEAM BABIES.

:We've made it past 28 weeks! Probably the biggest milestone because the babies could be born and be fine long term at this point. But we still want them to cook a little longer.

:At my last appointment our Dr. handed Kim and Curtis cute little profile pictures of all three babies. He handed me a picture of this.
It's my cervix. Not as cute as the babies but I guess it's a pretty amazing cervix. Dr. Esplin said whatever I'm doing, keep doing it. It's "long" which means from the one X to the other X it hasn't started opening yet.

:With that being said I have a sneaking suspicion it's starting to change. I don't know if it's baby A's head rubbing against it or what but I feel movement down there. I just might be put on bed rest at my next appointment.

:All babies are head down. He even mentioned something about a vaginal birth. BUT babies move a lot so I'm not getting my hopes up. I'm still planning on my first C section.

:We asked how many people the hospital will allow in the room while the babies are born. He said 2. Kim automatically thought her and Tyler. I automatically thought her and Curtis. I still have hope that Tyler can sneak in last minute but either way he has seen his 4 kids be born and that's good enough for us. I hope they will allow me to have a mirror above so I can watch.

:KSL interviewed Kim and I about our story. I'm not sure when it will air but I'm nervous about it. Seeing your own face and listening to own voice is never fun. Especially pregnant with triplets. They plan to also do an update after the babies are born and home with the husbands. That should be fun.
:I take at least one bath every day and a hot shower every night. I rub my body with baby oil. Whatever makes me comfortable.

:I'm getting uncomfortable. I still don't feel like I'm carrying triplets but maybe twins? But it's really not that bad. Either I'm just lucky or everyone that complains when they are pregnant with one baby are wusses. I'll take the aches and pains. Imagine the woman that never get to experience it at all.

:Tyler's Mom has been with us for over a month already. We are getting fed well. I haven't gained any weight for 6 weeks now but I'm thinking it's catching up with me and I'm kind of hoping I have put on a few pounds in the last couple weeks.

:My belly is bigger than it ever has been but I haven't yet gained as much as I did with my babies full term. I know they are eating my extra fat supply and they are welcome to it.

:My next appointment is Tuesday. A big ultrasound. I'm interested to see how much they weigh.

:I'm nesting. I try not to too much. So I make lists for Tyler, he loves it. Kim is nesting too.

Happy Birthday Curtis

And Curtis' Birthday is exactly one week after mine...

I love this post that Kim did for him. It really shows how awesome he is and why we all love him so much.

The Mom and Dad got older

Me and Tyler's Birthday's are exactly one week apart. Sort of annoying actually. Probably why all my kids are born in the four different seasons. I didn't want anymore birthdays close to each other. Luckily I care much more about celebrating the kid's birthdays rather than me or Tyler's. It's to that point where it's just another day, just another number.

Both our day's landed on a Sunday this year. Which is nice. Unless your husband is a Bishop. But we still got to celebrate with just us the days before. So great to have Tyler's Mom here. We don't know what it's like to have a free babysitter, we've never had it before.

We just did dinner for both our Birthdays. Dinner about takes all the energy right out of me. Just the thought of a movie at this point makes my little piggies swell. Tyler chose Spencer's Steakhouse. We've been wanting to try it but I think Ruth's Chris still takes the steak.
We had our family over on Sunday and Tyler's Mom made whatever he requested for dinner and dessert.  Tri-tip roasts and Chocolate cake.

For my dinner a week later, I chose a childhood favorite which I miss dearly, The Pasta Factory. It's on the East side which sometimes seems so far from the West side so we don't make there very often. Chicken fettucine alfredo and breadsticks with a side of Culver's ice cream on the way home. So surprised I didn't fail my glucose test that night.
On my Sunday we again had everyone over and I chose mexican and a strawberry shortcake trifle. So much more yummy when I don't have to lift a finger.
Tyler was so excited to give me his gift, which can sometimes be a little scary. But when I opened my first pair of pearls I was so happy. The perfect gift. And of course the kids gave me their gifts which consisted of random things around the house wrapped.
I always said I didn't want to have a baby in my 30's. I guess that's why I'm not having a baby but rather 3. I never imagined I would be here at 31 with 4 awesome kids and 3 little miracles cooking away. I wouldn't have it any other way.
