.Organize Me.

I love my label maker. Last year I ordered it off Amazon and gifted it to myself for Christmas. I think I may have even wrapped it and put it under the tree. To: Jamie. From: Jamie.

I have been labeling way before I got a label maker though. So if you don’t have one, you still can label.

This is before my professional label making days: Marker and a white sticky.

I had Tyler put up the Christmas lights outside last Saturday. Up here you have to do that early before it’s too cold. It helped so much to 1. actually find the right box and 2. know which stand of lights goes where, since our lights are cut to fit our house.

Your welcome Tyler. My gift to myself that he paid for made his life a little easier too. And if you don’t have one I think you should ask Santa for one this year.

Spicy

You may not know this about me but I LOVE spicy foods. The spicier the better! I actually crave spice. I crave jalapeño peppers, horseradish sauce, hot sauce, black pepper, pepperoncini’s, wasabi, pepperjack. Tyler also loves hot foods, thank goodness. So of course our kids are following in our footsteps. Olivia especially (our Latina) loves spice. I think she puts more hot sauce on her food than I do. So today for a snack we had cracker’s, cheese and jalapeño peppers. The kids could not get enough. And it was ssspicey! Totally worth the heartburn I always get later. Tyler called while we were snacking and said his mouth was watering! So yum.

Grandma turns 70 and we wouldn’t miss it for anything. She had no idea she was going to get a visit from her one and only granddaughter and only great-grandkids. She definitely was pleasantly surprised.

We made homemade chili, rolls and watched the Boise State Football game. Go Broncos!!! I think G.G. had a great Birthday.

Later that evening we headed over to

.Organize Me.

A couple a weeks ago I decided I wanted to freeze some dinners. There are always those days where I just don’t feel like cooking or when I am out eating with my friends so I thought it would be good to have some back-ups. So for that whole week I just doubled every dinner I made. I just used dishes that we already love and eat all the time, so there won’t be any surprises. I also bought some frozen dinners from Costco to add to mine. Like Kirkland lasagna. It’s actually pretty good. So now I have at least 10 back-ups for those lazy days.

.Organize Me.

I received a question from one of my friends on organizing baby clothes. I laughed when I read it. It seems like everything in my house is completely organized, and that’s just not the case. Baby clothes may be my enemy! I was really good in the beginning boxing and labeling all the clothes but 3 kids later, it has become a huge task and I’m lucky if the clothes get to a garbage bag.

The reason I keep these clothes is to save money. But all my babies are born in different seasons and different sizes so it’s really hard to re-use the clothes anyways. So my biggest advice would be don’t keep everything. Keep a few favorites and that’s it! I promise you will want new stuff for your new baby. Or you do the matchy matchy thing with them. I know when I buy a shirt for Drew in blue, I have to buy one for Alex in brown. Find someone that could really use the clothes. I do sell Olivia’s clothes to a friend every season. It’s been perfect. And if Olivia ever get’s a little sister, they would be 8 years apart! Styles definitely change in 8 years.

So I know it won’t happen this week or maybe even this month, but I need to go through all these clothes! Lucky for my friend, she just found out she is pregnant with twins! A girl and a boy, so she is going to get a lot of these clothes.
