Holiday Road

For Memorial weekend we decided to go to Small Town, America. Fairview, Utah that is. We spent the weekend with our good friends in their cabin. It was sooo much fun. It rained a ton but we still had fun on the four wheelers. Then at night we would put the kids to bed early and play games until morning. Can't beat that!

Drew brought some souvenirs home, some really weird bites and 5 mothballs in his pocket. For a whole day we could not figure out why we were smelling mothballs in the cabin, we sniffed everything. Well at home, doing laundry I found them in Drew's pocket. So glad we could spread the smell to my house. They should make a fragrance out of that stuff, yum.

Liv Liv Liv, my big girl!

When there is a baby in the house that's hitting new milestones weekly, we tend to forget about the older kids and their accomplishments. They don't come as frequent but they are big ones! Olivia has hit a few milestones lately that I want to remember...

First, while in Mexico she learned to swim! I guess she didn't really learn how to swim, since she didn't have swim lessons. She learned how to not drown. She prefers swimming under water like a frog. Hey she can get from one side of the pool to the other without dying so that's great! She has always been a fearless water baby, and her brothers have definitely followed in her footsteps.

Second, she can read! We are completing the third and final year of Preschool, yeah! I have been waiting for kindergarten for what seems like forever. I cannot wait for that first day waiting at the bus stop for her. Anyways this past year in preschool she has learned to read. Now she hasn't started the Twilight series yet but she passes off books at school every week. And she loves to read, which most little girls do for some reason. Great job Olivia!

Her last big accomplishment is Olivia learned to ride her bike without training wheels! Man she was determined, I think it took a whole one day. Now she's popping wheelys all over the place. She definitely needs a bigger bike now!

Olivia we are so proud of you and all your big milestones. You are such a quick learner, I sometimes forget you're only 5!

Super Quick Trip to St. George

I love St. George and we take any opportunity to go down there. Last weekend we had Tyler's cousin Lieren's wedding (absolutely beautiful), Grandpa Dabo's Birthday, and Mother's day crammed into one weekend.

Happy Birthday Grandpa Dabo, holy candles.

Lieren's reception was great. The kids are crazy dancin fools. Drew's hilarious. Maybe I will post actual footage of him later, such a dork.

25 year old Liv

She said I want my hair shorter.
I said no way, we have to be able to do pony-tails.
You can see who won this battle....

I can't believe how long it was a couple of months ago.

She just loves her new look.

Under the Big Top!

Our little squirt turned 3! Drew decided months ago, with some encouraging, that he wanted a carnival Birthday. It turned out really really cute. Of course it rained that day so we had to have most of the party in the garage but none the less, I think the kids had fun and I had fun not cleaning hotdogs, popcorn and caramel apples off my carpet.

My mom flew in for the occasion and for emotional support.

We, of course, had to have a face painter come and turn the boys into super hero's and the girls into butterflies.

Here are the kids posing in the photo op.

The famous pin the tail on the donkey and the cheaters that all peaked.

The ever so amazing balloon swords, butterflies and dragonflies.

And of course the kids of the party. Thanks for coming, Drew will be talking about it until Birthday #4.
