Super Quick Trip to St. George

I love St. George and we take any opportunity to go down there. Last weekend we had Tyler's cousin Lieren's wedding (absolutely beautiful), Grandpa Dabo's Birthday, and Mother's day crammed into one weekend.

Happy Birthday Grandpa Dabo, holy candles.

Lieren's reception was great. The kids are crazy dancin fools. Drew's hilarious. Maybe I will post actual footage of him later, such a dork.

25 year old Liv

She said I want my hair shorter.
I said no way, we have to be able to do pony-tails.
You can see who won this battle....

I can't believe how long it was a couple of months ago.

She just loves her new look.

Under the Big Top!

Our little squirt turned 3! Drew decided months ago, with some encouraging, that he wanted a carnival Birthday. It turned out really really cute. Of course it rained that day so we had to have most of the party in the garage but none the less, I think the kids had fun and I had fun not cleaning hotdogs, popcorn and caramel apples off my carpet.

My mom flew in for the occasion and for emotional support.

We, of course, had to have a face painter come and turn the boys into super hero's and the girls into butterflies.

Here are the kids posing in the photo op.

The famous pin the tail on the donkey and the cheaters that all peaked.

The ever so amazing balloon swords, butterflies and dragonflies.

And of course the kids of the party. Thanks for coming, Drew will be talking about it until Birthday #4.

WeRe HoMe!

We are home safe and sound, dark and peeling, greatful and now overwhelmed!
We had the best little family Easter vacation in Cabo San Lucas. The best part about coming home is sleeping in my bed, the worst is the LAUNDRY. Pictures to come, I took over 300 so it might take me awhile to go through them. It's good to be home!

I did it!

Two months ago I decided I was chubby! Sure I just had a baby 4 months prior but that weight was actually there before I got pregnant with Alex. Dang it. I always tell myself I WANT to lose weight but it never seems to happen. I know all of us Mom's definitely put ourselves on the back burner. This time I was determined for some reason, bribing myself with a trip to Cabo, maybe helped. And sure I could always starve myself, it works, but then you start eating again and all the weight seems to come back. So I wanted to do the right way, the hard way! EXERCISING and EATING WELL. What? No JR Bacon Cheeseburgers? No Crisp Bean Burritos? No fast food? Is it really worth it? I am sure my heart is thanking me. Anyways, I did it! After two months of working my butt off (literally), I have lost 13 pounds and over 32 inches. 32 inches! Mostly in my torso area. That kind of makes me sick. Sure my D cup is gone but I will settle for what I am left with. I do still have 3 more pounds to lose to hit my goal but I have to say I am proud. I have worked soooo hard. I have worked out everyday, yes everyday for the last 2 months. I know I will lose those three pounds soon and I will be able to maintain this more healthy weight for me. Cabo San Lucas here I come, and I earned it!!!
Here are my little buddies that helped me through it all:
Big Black Beauty.

My blaring XM radio, preferably 80's.

The hot pink sports bra was there with me through it all, her support was surely appreciated.

My long distant personal trainer, thanks Carlee.

Activia, Activia, you have to stay regular!

My Isagenix shakes and bars. Oh how I love and crave you.

And last but most important my dear little consistant napper. Thanks buddy!
