At 29 I'm feeling.......

Sssssexy!
Do you see whats on my leg? It's a granny support sock. I have some pretty decorations on the back of my right leg. Luckily they don't hurt...yet. But I definitely can feel when I need to take a seat and rest. Which I am terrible at doing. I got these veins with Alex as well and they went away actually before I even had him so I am hoping!

There are some perks having Tyler and my Birthday one week apart. We save a little money.

When Tyler brings flowers, he brings flowers!

And it's the kind I like. The free kind.
He happened to have his 40 under 40 event on my Birthday and brought two of these home. Don't worry I was annoyed more than anything. I said where am I going to put these?

Having a LARGE family, which going from 3 kids to 4 puts us into the LARGE category, I really wanted a new waffle maker. We make waffles a lot and it takes forever with our one little belgium maker. So take a look at this beauty! She's so pretty and it makes all the difference. Thanks Mom!

For dinner we took the kids to dinner and ice cream. I got to pick where and Tyler hates Rumbi. So I picked Rumbi! And Yogurtland. Then we came back to watch American Idol. Alex didn't last long. Bless his little heart.

I'm still enjoying my "real" Birthday gift, this laptop. Just using something that's not half dead is so much better, I don't care what brand it is! And that was my 29th Birthday! I've already accomplished all I wanted to in my 20's so bring on those 30's!

more changes

I received a call yesterday that Drew has been selected for Kindergarten at a Charter school down the street. And that puts Olivia # 2 on the list which pretty much means she is in as well.

We are excited because from my understanding this school is a lot like Challenger and we all know I am a huge fan of Challenger.

There are definitely pro's and con's to Charter schools and we are going to have to do some adjusting. Like there is no bussing. They wear uniforms. It's traditional, so no more tracks (which I have enjoyed).

But we are willing to give it a try and if we love it, we love it. And if we don't we will change back the following year to the public school. We just feel lucky to get the chance to try it out.

I still can't believe I will have two in elementary this coming year. Thank goodness, right?

I'm back! I took a few weeks off because of preparing for vacation, the vacation, and recovering from vacation. But don't think I haven't been organizing! I'm excited for the next 4 months because this is when I organize the most, preparing for a baby. Everything, I mean everything needs to be clean and organized so my life can go smoothly and I can enjoy my last baby girl. So I may even have more than 1 organize me posts in a week. It will consume all my time.

.Organize Me.

Do you know how to putty a hole in the wall? Well I do, and I take great pride in my carpentry work. I think every girl should know how. I can't tell you how many holes I have puttied in my house. It's definitely apart of decorating.
I promise it's super easy.

All you need are these plus paint. I like the putty that goes on pink then turns white when it's ready for sanding.

So I had this 3 picture contraption hanging in my kitchen. I loved it but it came crashing down one day in the middle of the night. It broke (and left big holes I needed to putty). Just as well since it only had 3 frames where was I going to put baby girl's picture? So I went searching for a 4 frame contraption. Not an easy task. All I could find were 2 or 3 frames. So I had to make my own. I bought 4 frames, some wrought iron, and orange ribbon for some color. Tyler put it together. I love it and can't wait to put all four of my kid's pictures in it.

Now go putty some holes, cause I know you have them!

valentines

I'm not a flowers kind of girl, not a chocolate girl, sure not a poem girl, no sweet nothings in my ear please, and if I ever receive a stuffed animal! You can tell how romantic I must be. Romance to me is listening. Listening to something I have said I wanted or NEEDED and getting it for me. Tyler did good this year.

I got this baby!

The laptop I have been using for years is actually from his work and it finally gave out on me, thank goodness. So now I just need to learn how to use it. (ps. it's for my bday too which is in 10 days)

Tyler's cards are always different too. He knows I might gag a little at the cheesy Hallmark cards at the store. So he made his own.

Can you tell he's the publisher for a magazine? I can't remember the last time I cut out magazine words.

The kids were simple. They have wanted pillow pets since the day they saw the dumb commercial. I stayed strong because they annoy me but when I saw these pillow pet pee wee's, I thought it was time. They are cheaper and much smaller. Perfect for travel.

.Happy Valentines.

1/2 way

A couple days ago I hit my half way point. Kind of freakin about it. So much to do in the next 4 months.

I decided to take Olivia to my appointment today since she is off track. Next time Drew and I will go. You are not suppose to take kids but Drew and Liv are so good and I want them more involved.

I gained A LOT on our vacation. Oops. We should have vacationed in Peru again, where I starved and lost weight. If I keep going at this rate, I will gain the most with this baby.

I’ve been using Tyler’s laptop because mine is dying. His password has to change every few months for work reasons. I asked him what his new password was and it’s our new baby girl’s name. We have one proud Daddy here.

I bought my first little girl outfit this past week. It was fun. I also bought 3 pictures that are inspiring her whole room. I’m eager to just get everything done but don’t want to go overboard.

Remember all those bins of baby and kids clothes I needed to go through? Well it took a whole day but I did it. The result: 15 empty plastic bins. 5 huge black garbage bags ready for the DI. 8 bins of boy clothes 0-24 months for my friend. 1 bin half full for baby girl. Some much needed extra storage space. The moral of the story, either don’t buy so much clothes or don’t keep so much clothes. I haven’t decided which one.

I thought it might be emotional giving away all my baby boy stuff but it wasn’t. Probably because Alex was there bugging me the whole time. I did sale my baby boy and girl bedding to my friend among other things too. I will get new bedding this time.

I don’t want to post a prego picture. So here is mama whale again. It’s pretty much how I feel anyways.
