BBQ with the Neighb's

Have I ever told you how awesome our neighborhood is? Well it is the best! Being here for 5 years, I feel like I know everyone so well. There are a few newbies and that's why we have these great get-togethers so we can get to know them a little better. It was an ugly T-shirt party hence all the beautiful T's. Thanks Joc for hosting, you're so brave. I am sure you will be finding chocolate doughnuts in the weirdest places for months to come! Tyler won a prize for his shirt, I think he got extra points because I actually pulled his from his closet. Who actually pays money for a shirt like that, seriously?

After 3 long years of Preschool I finally have a Kindergartner! Maybe it's because she's been in preschool for so long, or maybe I just have a heart of stone but I didn't even shed a tear. I was way too excited! Yeah, only 16 more years of school Liv!!! Who's going to buckle up Drew in the back seat now?

Olivia has two neighbor girls in her class, Sadie and Brayden. They love to ride the bus together!

The Happenings!

I just wanted to give you a little update on all the kids.....

So do your kids ever call McDonalds "O-McDonalds"? The nursery rhyme is really confusing them. Anyways Olivia did it when she was little and Drew still says let's eat at O-McDonalds. I never correct him because it's so cute and he'll figure it out eventually when he's 16 and working there. So today we were riding in the car jamming to music, XM 80's of course, and Drew's like "Mom! Is this O-Madonna"? Sure enough it was Material Girl. I am so proud of my little diva who knows ALL the Madonna songs!

Olivia started Tennis this past week. I have been wanting her to get into Tennis for awhile now. She is so athletic and has the absolute perfect tennis body. She seemed to really enjoy it despite the really hot weather. Hopefully she will be an amazing tennis player and make Mommy and Daddy lot's of money!

Last as usual, little Alexander upgraded to his new car seat and oh does he LOVE it! He wasn't terrible in the infant carrier but he would never sleep in it. Now he can't stay awake in this new one. I wouldn't be able to either, it's so comfy and squishy. This is a picture of when I put him in it for the first time, he couldn't stop smiling. Then when we left he couldn't stop checking everything out....I know he was singing "a whole new world" in his little head!!! So cute!

Camping with the Dixie Dogs

Our Ward campout was a success! And I am so glad it's over with! Now I can relax until Christmas time. We had such a great time and our spot was beautiful and perfect. It's definitely going to be a ward tradition.

I have some camp awards to give out this year:
"There's always a kid that get's hurt" award goes to..... Ashton, ouch his poor face!
"The most support" award goes to..... Jocelyn for camping with a 3 month old!
"The camping while prego" award goes to..... Kara Crook, prego camping is never fun!
"The camping with one small blanket and freezing their butt's off all night" award goes to..... The Krainich's, note to self, next year bring more blankets!
"The best dirty jokes around the campfire with the Bishop and his wife present" award goes to..... Tyler, leave it to him to embarrass the heck out of me!
Thanks to all who came to support us and I hope you had as much fun as we did!

I love KSL.com classifieds! Seriously anything I list sells super super quick. I mean within minutes. So if you don't use the web site you need to. Utah people are crazy shoppers! We just sold our old car within minutes. This was me and Tyler's first car we bought together 7 years ago, so it was sad to see it go. Tear, tear. I am still mourning (why do we get so attached to things?) but I will be okay. Just remember if you need to sell anything or buy anything check out KSL.com. (No, my husband does not work for KSL, I just like the site.)

Boise 4th

First I river rafted for the first time. We thought we did enough research on the Payette Main river but it turned out crazier than we thought. We hit 5 level 3's! Good thing my Step-brother Nick was our guide because we would have for sure flipped without him. Now Drew can say he river rafted level 3's at 3 years old! The kids are thrill seekers so they loved it!

Then we headed to my Grandparents house/cabin in the mountains for the rest of the weekend. I wish I could just send my kids there for the whole summer. There is so much for them to do. My Grandparents deck view is amazing!

Our 4 generations! I love that my Grandma was a young mom, my Mom was a young mom and now I am a young mom. Then Olivia can enjoy her GG.

Where my Grandparents live they always have a really awesome firework show for how small the town is. We just love it there, no crowds to fight, front row seating and really great fireworks.

It's not everyday my Mom has all three of her kids together!

The icing on the cake was sparklers and making smores at midnight. Yum!

Oh and we can't leave out Alex, this was the drive home. Desperate times ask for desperate measures.
