Back TWO School

Seriously one of the best summers yet but all good things must come to an end. 

We were ALL excited for school to start. I do miss Liv, my other half. I now have to raise Esther all by myself and it's taking some adjusting.

Olivia and Drew are attending the Charter school that we fell in love with last year. Drew is FULL day and loves it. And Alex gets his shot at Challenger. Both Olivia and Drew attended Challenger for preschool. Alex will go for two years too and then as soon as Alex is out Esther will start her two years. That will make NINE years. I should work there. One difference this year is that the preschoolers at Challenger have to be in uniform on one of their days. Cutest thing I've ever seen. Preschoolers in uniform.

Alex will also attend his "special" preschool that is run by the school district. He can't wait to ride the bus again- his first day there is after Labor Day. He gets to attend with a neighbor boy this year so it should great for the both of them. 

(Alex Speech Update: he's doing awesome. Seriously awesome. We met with his teachers again this year before his school starts and to remember the difference from last year. Not only was he terrified but he didn't talk very much a year ago. Now at this visit he was of course chatting away to all the teachers and showing me all the toys, acting like he owned the place. Those woman are my hero's. He is grandfathered into the school until Kindergarten. So he doesn't even need to be tested to qualify. Such a great opportunity for him.)
